Who is this program for?

Accountants, bookkeepers, financial advisers, lawyers, insolvency practitioners, business coaches and anyone else whose clients regularly hit a finance problem they are not licensed or resourced to solve.

How does the commission share work?

For a successful referral that settles, you can earn up to 50% of the loan commission. The exact share depends on the product and the involvement, and we set it out in writing before anything proceeds. Referral arrangements are disclosed to the client, as they must be.

Do I need a credit licence to refer?

Referral arrangements are regulated, and what you can and cannot say to a client matters. There is a narrow referral exemption in the credit legislation with conditions attached. We will walk you through what a compliant referral looks like before you make one, and you should confirm your own position with your licensee or adviser.

What happens to my client?

They stay yours. We handle the finance, keep you informed, and hand the relationship back. We are not looking to take over your client's accounting or advice work.

Can I refer a file you cannot help with?

Yes, and we would rather you did. If it is not workable we will tell you quickly and say why, so you can give your client a straight answer rather than leaving them waiting.

How do I get paid?

On settlement, once the lender has paid the commission through. We invoice-match and pay on a regular cycle, and you get a statement showing which file it relates to.
